Salman Khan Attends Annual Day Function At Gateway School, Mumbai

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has had a dramatic week this month. After being sentenced to five years in prison for shooting a black buck in Rajasthan 20 years ago, Khan, quite predictably, was given bail after spending two nights in jail.

Salman Khan has been in conflict with the law several times – be it for running over some homeless people while driving drunk, or for possessing an expired arms license. But, over the years, the actor has bounced back, even being recognised as Bollywood’s bad boy with a heart of gold. It is whispered that his strong PR team was responsible for portraying this ‘troubled boy’ image which eventually culminated into the ragingly popular brand ‘Being Human’.

Now that he is back on bail, Salman immediately put himself out there, attending events, posing for photos with fans, and trying to ‘give back’ to the society.

When he reached Mumbai on Saturday (April 7), several celebrities were already waiting for him at his house, while fans celebrated with cakes and crackers outside his residence. He then waved out to his fans from the balcony of his apartment and declared that he wanted to sleep.

On Sunday, April 8, Salman Khan spent a day with the Gateway School in Mumbai. Indulging fans and teachers alike, the actor posed for photographs and interacted with children, and was often pictured kissing their forehead or playing a game with them. Reportedly, the actor donated Rs 1 crore to the school.

The same night, he partied with his Race 3 co-stars, celebrating actor Saqib Saleem’s birthday.

As of now, it is clear that Salman has no intentions of keeping a low profile. With 90 percent of Race 3 shooting done, he is expected to continue with his acting commitments, and make more public appearances for his brand, Being Human.
