Prabhu Deva Will Fly To China To Train For ‘Yung Mung Sung’

Prabhu Deva will soon head to China to prepare for his role in the Tamil comedy drama Yung Mung Sung. The film is based on martial arts, and many of his scenes include stunts similar to those made popular by Bruce Lee.

Speaking to DNA India, he Prabhu Deva said, “I always wanted to do action. And this is a full-on action film directed by MS Arjun. Since it required martial arts, I didn’t want the action scenes to look artificial. I am going to China to learn the real thing.”

Moreover, the dancer/actor/director also believes that martial arts and dancing are closely related. “Learning martial arts is only going to improve my dancing.” Prabhu Deva will begin his training in China from next month.

Apart from Prabhu Deva, Yung Mung Sung stars Lakshmi Menon, Thangar Bachan and RJ Balaji. 

The actor, who has been directing five back-to-back Bollywood films in Mumbai, has now shifted his base to Chennai for his Tamil projects. With Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja, with Vishal, Karthi, and Sayyeshha, Prabhu Deva returns to directing Tamil films. He is also a part of Karthik Subbaraj’s Mercury, in which he plays a villain. He is also currently shooting for Gulebagavali with Hansika Motwani.
