Actors Prakash Raj and Allu Arjun, who essay important roles in Anushka Shetty’s 3D epic film Rudhramadevi, apparently, worked without taking any remuneration. Talking to Silverscreen, Arjun said: “I felt a film such as this needs to be appreciated. I was moved by Gunasekar’s involvement and dedication towards the project so much that I asked him to not worry about my remuneration”.
Arjun added that it’s didn’t make much of a difference to him even if worked for free once in a while in films such as Rudhramadevi. The film releases in Telugu and Hindi tomorrow and in Tamil next week. It chronicles the rise of warrior queen Rudhramadevi, one of the last rulers of Kakatiya dynasty.
