Actress Priyanka Chopra will be seen as a ‘bombshell of a villain’ – in her own words – in upcoming Hollywood film, Baywatch. In a recent online chat, Chopra shared her thoughts about her character, Victoria Leeds. “The film is just really funny. It’s a great great movie. It doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s a comedy and I play the bombshell of a villain in the movie,” the star said.
Priyanka feels that the best part of working in Baywatch is to be the villain. “I don’t think The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson has ever had anyone who’s been mean to him. He’s a great guy but Victoria is a bitch,” Priyanka said .
Priyanka believes that the movie will be a blockbuster. “I’m very excited about the movie because I was a big fan of the show. I think ‘Baywatch’ as a show is much more popular around the world. I mean, people just loved the show all over the world and this movie according to me will be a big summer blockbuster next year because it’s so funny,” she said.
Baywatch is the film adaptation of the hugely popular 90s action drama series of the same name. The film also stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, and Zac Efron. Priyanka plays the main antagonist in the movie, set for a May 2017 release.
