Keeping up with his reputation for choosing quirky titles like Pokiri, Idiot, and Desamuduru, filmmaker Puri Jagganadh has titled his next film Loafer. Featuring actor Varun Tej in his first stint in a commercial film, Loafer also has on board newcomer Disha Patani.

According to producer C. Kalyan, the film will be a regular Puri entertainer with a strong mother sentiment. Shooting begins on July 1^st in Jodhpur, Rajasthan and Hyderabad, and will continue non-stop for three months. The team plans to complete the film by September and release it during the Dussehra festival.
