Radhika Apte, who rose to popularity with this year’s Kabali, is likely to play the lead in director GR Adithya’s next film. The project has a women centric subject.
Confirming the news, GR Adithya told Times of India “It’s true that we are in talks with Radhika, and she is impressed with the story line. However, she is yet to sign the official agreement. This project with Radhika will be a women-centric one, and it will be completely different from my debut film. Though Savarakathi was written by Mysskin, I have penned the script for my next project.”

GR Adithya has directed Savarakathi, which has director Ram and actress Poorna in the lead roles. The film is written by Mysskin who has also played the lead antagonist role in the film, a comedy. Savarakathi has music composed by Arrol Corell and is produced by Mysskin under his Lonewolf Productions banner.
Radhika Apte, is currently filming for Vikramaditya Motwane’s Bhavesh Joshi, which has Harshvardhan Kapoor in the lead. She will also be seen in an English film titled The Ashram alongside Kal Penn and Melissa Leo. Based on a novel of the same name, the story English-language spiritual fantasy thriller set in the mystical world of Himalayan yogis.
