The release of Director Ponram’s Rajini Murugan, and director Ravi Arasu’s Eetti were postponed due to heavy rains and flooding in Chennai. The films were slated to hit the theatres on December 4.

Director Lingusamy, producer of Rajini Murugan, has sent out a press release stating that they were unable to go ahead with the release plan. The new release date of the film would be announced in the coming days.
However, the makers of Eetti, starring Atharvaa and Sri Divya, have fixed December 11 as the new release date. Produced by Global Infotainment Pvt Ltd, Eetti is a sports film, and Atharvaa will be portraying the role of an athlete.
Director Sakthivel Palanisamy’s Urumeen, produced by by Axess Film Factory, released on December 4 release and the movie featuring Bobby Simha, Reshmi Menon and Kalairasan has been getting positive reviews.
