Actor Rajinikanth has denied speculations that he would join politics soon.
The actor was asked recently if there was a political agenda behind his plan to meet fans on April 2. To which the 2.0 actor said:
“No, there won’t be any announcement on politics. The fans are meeting because it has been a long time.”
According to a PTI report, the actor added that he might not even attend the fans meet.
Rumours of the actor joining politics have been in circulation for quite sometime now. Recently, Rajinikanth was alleged to have offered to support Gangai Amaren, BJP candidate for RK Nagar constituency in Chennai. Rajini took to Twitter to deny the reports.
