Actor Ram Charan will join the sets of the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan this week and will shoot for two weeks continuously. The film was officially launched last week. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swamy. Ram plays an IPS officer, and has reportedly undergone a complete makeover for his part. Hip Hop Tamizha has been roped in to compose the music for the project. The remake is being produced by Geetha Arts.
