Actress Regina Cassandra, in her interview to Deccan Chronicle, revealed that she was playing the role of a Christian nanny in her upcoming film, Nenjam Marappathillai with director Selvaraghavan. “I play a Christian girl who is working as a nanny. What happens after I come into the house forms a part of the story”, she was quoted as saying.
Produced by Gautham Menon, Nenjam Marappathillai has S.J. Surya, Regina Cassandra and Nanditha Swetha in the lead roles. The movie is said to be a romantic-drama with horror elements. The movie has Selvaraghavan joining hands with music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, who he last worked with in the 2008 hit movie, Yaradi Nee Mohini.

” I am eager to see the reaction of all the women who come out after seeing the film,”the actress was quoted by the newspaper. Talking about her co-star S.J.Suryah, she said he was a show-stealer. “Lately, he has been choosing films that do justice to his creativity. After the movie’s release he is going to walk away with all the praise, she said. She was also in awe of the director, Selvaraghavan ““Being in his movie is like going to school for every actor, because you learn so much that you didn’t even realise you had the potential to do”.
Regina is now busy working on other projects, including Udhayanidhi Stalin’s next with director Ezhil of Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran fame.
