Nivin Pauly’s upcoming Tamil film, which is being directed by debutant Gautham Ramachandran, is scheduled to release on December 8. The film has him playing a local thug and the actor has dubbed for his character.
Gautham Ramachandran tells Silverscreen, “Tamil dubbing wasn’t easy for him. Nivin worked on his Tamil diction, sought help from his Tamil friends. It took nearly a month’s time for him to wrap up the dubbing. But the kind of performance he has given in the film, no other voice would suit him other than his own.”

“Nivin plays a local thug in Thoothukudi, who roams around like he owns the world. The film also revolves around an investigation and a few characters involved in it. Nivin’s character is also a part of that investigation,” adds the director.
Richie has Shraddha Srinath as female lead and Lakshmi Priya and Raj Bharath in supporting roles. Ajaneesh Loknath has scored the music and Padi Kumar has done the cinematography for this film, which was entirely shot in Thoothukudi.
