SA Chandrasekhar dons the greasepaint for his upcoming directorial, Touring Talkies. The director plays a 75-year-old in the film and also has a heroine – newcomer Hemamalini from Shimla.We hear that SAC, as he’s fondly referred to, underwent physical training to get in shape for the role. “The film is based on my trysts with romance and I’m very upbeat about the final product. Post-production work is going on right now, and we will release it at the right time,” said the director.
Touring Talkies also marks the association of Ilaiyaraaja and SAC after almost twenty years. The duo’s last film was the Rajinikanth starrer Naan Sigappu Manithan.
