The audio of director Moorthy Kannan’s upcoming film, Saalaiyoram, was launched by Governor General K Rosaiah, and was received by veteran director P Vasu. Also, the trailer, which was launched by the Governor was received by the Producers’ Council President, Kalaipuli S Thanu. Director-actor Pandiyarajan and producer-editor Mohan were present along with the rest of the cast and crew of Saalaiyoram.

Pandiarajan, who has played the villain role in the movie, said that the film has touched upon an interesting topic. The actor also got nostalgic and recalled his meeting with actor MGR.
Director P Vasu proudly said that his assistant Moorthy Kannan has made a movie about a sensible topic which will have nation-wide reach.
P Vasu is also a part of the tax exemption committee. “I get to see so many movies as part of the committee. Only a few of them satisfy the criteria, and most of them are disappointing when it comes to the plot, but are rich in technical aspects,” he said.
