Actress Sai Pallavi, who played one of the female leads in Malayalam film Premam, is said to be in talks for director Mani Ratnam’s next film. The actress, reportedly, had attended a screen test in Chennai early this month. A TOI report quoted Sai Pallavi’s mother, “Sai will mostly be a part of the team as Mani Ratnam liked her performance. If all goes well, she will be paired opposite actor Karthi”.
“Things will get finalised only in March. She is currently shooting for another Malayalam film and is also busy with her studies”, added the actress’ mother. Sai, who is pursuing medical studies in Georgea, is currently shooting for Dulquer Salman’s Kali, which is directed by Sameer Thahir.
