Salim director, NV Nirmal Kumar, is in talks with a few production houses to remake the film. We hear that the director recently met Telugu actor Venkatesh, who expressed interest in starring in the remake. The actor has suggested some changes to the script to make it more suitable for the Telugu audience. So, the director is now re-working the script and is also simultaneously working on a story for a Tamil film.
The movie released late last month and earned mostly positive reviews from the audience. It was declared a hit, and has given a much needed boost to music director/actor Vijay Antony’s career. So much so that we hear the actor is quite keen on doing another project with Nirmal Kumar.
