Salman Khan will be seen in the sequel to the 2012 romantic thriller, Ek Tha Tiger. Titled Tiger Zinda Hai, the movie will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who had previously worked with the actor in Sultan. The sequel will see Katrina Kaif reprise her role as well.

The film will follow the journey of both the lead characters. Salman will reportedly play a 70-year-version of his character from the first film. Produced by Yash Raj films, the movie is scheduled to be a 2017 Christmas release.
The first part directed by Kabir Khan, revolves around a RAW agent who is on a mission to retrieve information from a scientist in Dublin. Katrin Kaif plays a Pakistani agent who poses as the scientist’s caretaker. They eventually fall in love. In the end, they evade the legal system and go into hiding. Ek Tha Tiger was a massive hit at the box office. It became the second Bollywood film to gross over 3 billion worldwide.
It was recently reported that Salman Khan will reportedly produce a biopic on Somen Banerjee, the Indian-American who co-founded a male striptease group Chippendales.

On the acting front, Salman is also currently working on Tubelight, directed by Kabir Khan. Set in the 1962 Indo-China war, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu have been roped in to play the female lead. The movie is reportedly based on the Hollywood film, Little Boy.

Meanwhile, actress Katrina Kaif was part of the recently released scifi romantic drama – Baar Baar Dekho. Directed by Nithya Mehra, the movie has Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. Read the review here.
