Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, resumed shoot on Sunday, after a six-month long break owing to the pandemic and the consequent lockdown.
The film is a remake of South Korean action-comedy film Veteran and a sequel to the 2009 release Wanted, which was a remake of Telugu film Pokiri. Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film features Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff, Megha Akash, Zarina Wahab and others.
The film, produced by Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri, was supposed to release during Eid this year. It was deferred due to the lockdown and the makers have not announced the release date yet.
The news of the resumption broke after stories from the actors’ social media profiles began trending. Hooda plays the role of an antagonist, his first time ever. He shared a picture of his dubbing session for the film.

On Saturday, Patani shared Instagram stories of herself on her way to the location of the film shoot.
The Times of India reported on October 5 that the cast and crew of the film was in Lonavala, near Mumbai, shooting for a song. Salman Khan shared pictures of what looked like a song shoot with his back facing the camera. In the picture, he wore a black jacket paired with jeans and captioned it, “Back to shoot after 6 1/2 months…feels good #Radhe.”
The actor-director duo have previously worked on the 2019 release Dabangg 3. Salman Khan is hosting the 14th season of reality show Bigg Boss, which airs on Colors TV.
Patani was last seen in Malang opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. Hooda was last seen in the Netflix original American action-thriller film Extraction, featuring Chris Hemsworth, which marked his Hollywood debut.
