Director Velraj’s upcoming film, provisionally titled VIP 2, has been wrapped up. Actress Samantha, who plays the female lead in the film, confirmed the news and added that the first look and title would be announced shortly.

Two days ago, co-lead Dhanush had also said the first look and trailer would soon be released. After completing VIP 2, Dhanush will move on to director Durai Senthil Kumar’s next project, for which he has given the director bulk dates. Meanwhile, Samantha is busy dividing her time between Telugu and Tamil films. Her film 10 Enradhukulla with actor Vikram, which has been in the cans for a while, will also be releasing soon.
VIP 2 has an ensemble cast of Dhanush, Samantha, Amy Jackson, Radhika Sarathkumar, KS Ravikumar and Sathish. Produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, VIP 2 will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.
