Oh! Baby actress Samantha Akkineni has returned to social media after a month-long break with videos of her doing parkour stunts, cartwheels and climbing poles at a gym. She is currently shooting for the Telugu remake of 96, and reports say she will soon make her digital debut with a multi-lingual web-series, which is yet to be officially announced.
Amidst reports of Samantha “going missing”, she posted a video yesterday in which she is seen climbing a pipe about 10 feet high and sliding back to the ground. She said, “Never be afraid to try new things… you will be surprised at what you’re capable of… loving parkour.”
Other workout videos featuring her have been trending among fans. She is seen making a perfect landing after a parkour stunt in one of them, and does a cartwheel in another.

After months of promotions for Oh! Baby, Samantha took a break from the limelight and also reportedly started work on the upcoming web-series, which will be out in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, and will mark her Hindi debut. The shooting for the series is said to be on in Chennai. An official announcement is awaited, though.
In July, she joined the sets of the as-yet-untitled Telugu remake of 96, also directed by Premkumar. She reprises Trisha’s role in the film, and Sharwanand stars as Ram, the character played by Vijay Sethupathi in the original.

Samantha’s Oh! Baby, directed by Nandini Reddy, has turned out to be the highest grossing film in her career, and also earned a million dollars in the US.
