Actress Sanchita Shetty, whose last film was the 2013 film Pizza 2: Villa, is starring in debutant director Pudhraja’s film Love Guru. The film will also feature actor Saravanan, who starred in the 2014 film Murugaatrupadai. According to a New Indian Express report, Sanchita’s character Vaayadi (literally: a chatter-box) will be a bubbly girl. The story is based on real life events.

Although specifics on her role are unknown, a majority of Sanchita’s scenes have been canned at police stations, where she appears along with character artiste Kajal. Shooting of Love Guru is nearly complete, with only two songs remaining in the schedule. The technical team is likely to travel to Puducherry to shoot the songs. The supporting cast of Love Guru includes Pasupathi, Kalabhavan Mani, and MS Baskar.
