A science-fiction comedy to be bankrolled by Kotapadi J Rajesh’s KJR Studios and Soldiers’ Factory (owned by KS Sinish, the director of Balloon) will feature Santhanam in his first triple action avatar. Santhanam was last seen in A1 which ran into controversies when its teaser was launched, with a group demanding a ban on the film for ‘mocking brahmin practices’. Santhanam will reportedly be seen as the hero, villain, and comedian in this new film.

This film will mark the directorial debut of Karthik Yogi (who wrote the dialogues for Maanagaram) and is expected to go on the floors soon. An April 2020 release is on the cards, according to an official statement from the makers. The film’s title will be announced on September 5.
