Actor Sarathkumar has been approached by the makers of Nivin Pauly’s Malayalam film, Kayamkulam Kochunni, directed by Rosshan Andrews of 36 Vayathinile fame. Rosshan Andrews told Silverscreen, “It is a major role and the makers are trying to rope in Sarathkumar, but he is yet to be finalised.”

Bankrolled by Sri Gokulam Movies, the film is based on the Robin Hood tale. The vintage looks of the leading actors, Nivin and Amala, were released recently. Roshan said that a major portion of the film will be shot in Sri Lanka. The shoot is expected to commence in the coming months. Nivin Pauly has a few films to complete before he heads to Roshan’s film. He has completed the shoot for Tamil film, Richie, and has signed on two more Tamil films, one with Suriya B, and the other with Prabhu Radhakrishnan.
Sarathkumar is currently filming Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2, Rendaavathu Aattam, Adangathey and a Telugu film, Naa Peru Suriya.
