The shooting of Vetrivel, directed by Vasantha Mani, has been wrapped up. The film, which has actor Sasikumar and Miya George in the lead roles, is a rural drama shot in and around Tanjore.
According to sources, Miya George plays a Malayali in the movie. The film’s supporting cast includes Prabhu, Samuthirakani, Thambi Ramaiah and Renuka. Produced by Trident Arts, Vetrivel has music by D Imman and cinematography by SR Kathir.
Sasikumar is now awaiting the release of director Bala’s Thara Thappattai, in which he is paired up with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
