Director Mysskin, who has written the story of Savarakkaththi, says it’s about “discovering the child that is hidden in our adult selves”. The film stars director Ram and actress Poona in the lead, while Mysskin plays the antagonist. Most recently, actress Reshmi Menon has also been brought on board. Actor Sri, who had worked with Mysskin in Onaayum Aatukuttyum will feature in a guest role.
Savarakkaththi is being directed by GR Adhithya, a former associate of Mysskin. Cinematography is being handled by VI Karthik, who has previously worked with cameraman PC Sreeram. Arrol Corelli, of Pisaasu fae, composes the music. Other members of the technical crew include editor Gopinath, art director N Sathees Kumar, and action-choreographer Dinesh Kasi.
