The second part will cover his conflict with the Sri Lankan government and the civil war.
Venkatesh Kumar is known for his works including, Unakkul Naan and Lightman. His film, Neelam, which was based on the Sri Lankan Civil War had run into trouble after it was refused certification by the Censor Board. It had stated that the film could affect the relationship between India and the island nation.
