A source told Silverscreen: “Though the team had already shot a few scenes for the sequel while shooting part one, director Adhik Ravichandran is yet to complete work on the script for the sequel. Meanwhile, he may also do a film other than AAA part two. So, everything about AAA sequel is uncertain for now. We will know only when Adhik finishes the script work.”
AAA was about a Madurai gangster in his 50s, falling in love with a young girl. The film had Tamannaah and Shriya Saran as female leads, with Mahat and Kasthuri in supporting roles.
Simbu has not signed any film post the release of AAA.
