Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother, Ruhaan Kapoor, is likely to make his acting debut soon, reports Deccan Chronicle. Their father Pankaj Kapoor hinted at his son’s debut during the screening of Carry On Kesar.
“Who am I to launch him? Kids these days know how to launch themselves in the industry. Yes, he is planning to be an actor. His name is Ruhaan Kapoor, and in course of time people will see him on screen,” Pankaj Kapoor told the media present.

Incidentally, only last month Shahid Kapoor’s maternal half-brother – Ishaan Khattar – announced that he would make his acting debut with Iranian director Majid Majidi’s film Beyond The Clouds. The project went on the floors last month and is financed by Zee Studios in association with Eye Candy Films.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is currently filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The actor’s other film – Rangoon – will release next week, starring Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan.
