Well-known Hindi television artist Sharad Kelkar has been cast as the arch-nemesis for Gabbar Singh 2. The film is a sequel to the Telugu remake of Dabangg, and features Pawan Kalyan and Anisha Ambrose in leading roles. While an official announcement is yet to be made, reliable sources have confirmed that Sharad will play the bad guy in the movie.

Interestingly, it was during the initial phase of shooting in Maharashtra that the filmmakers first saw Sharad acting in a TV serial. Quite impressed by his physique, fitness, and looks, they decided to approach him, and he was immediately brought on board. Sharad, along with Pawan, is expected to join the sets during the second schedule in Gujarat.
Sharad isn’t entirely new to the big screen. He has previously worked in smaller roles in films like Hulchul and Ram-Leela. Directed by Bobby, Gabbar Sing 2 is being produced by Pawan’s friend and business partner Sharat Marar.
