Telugu actor Sharwanand will be seen sporting two looks in his upcoming film, directed by Sudheer Varma. It’s a gangster drama, and is yet to be titled.
According to an IE report, the actor will play an older version of his character in the movie. “We are doing prosthetic makeup for the old age look of Sharwanand and that is the portion which is left to be shot,” said a source close to the movie.
He added, “We didn’t shoot that portion because he (Sharwanand) has to change his hairstyle and all.”
The crew has filmed 70% of the movie. The final schedule will commence in the third week of January and wrap up by the end of February. The movie was launched in November 2017, with Naga Chaitanya’s participation at the event.
Director Varma, who is known for the films Swamy Ra Ra and Dihchay, last directed Keshava with Nikhil Siddharth and Ritu Varma in the lead.
In this next, Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the lead with Sharwanand. She made her acting debut opposite Akhil Akkineni in the 2017 movie Hello. The actress has five more movies geared up for release this year.
Prashant Pillai is the music composer for the movie. He has worked on films like Bejoy Nambiar’s Shaitan, and the Malayalam films Amen and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam.
The makers of the Sharwanand-starrer had earlier put up a set in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The film is produced by Suryadevara Nagavamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.
Sharwanand was last seen in 2018’s Padi Padi Leche Manasu. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, starring Sai Pallavi in the lead, the romantic drama released on December 21. The film elicited a mixed reaction from the public.
