Sherin plays the lead role in the upcoming horror movie Thigil. The film has actor Ashok in the lead and has been shot in and around Chennai, Coorg and Mysore. The film follows a girl who’s travelling to Mysore to meet her fiance. Circumstances force her to take refuge in an abandoned house and she has some supernatural encounters. The film is being bankrolled by Miracle Movie Makers and marks the return of Sherin to the Tamil film industry after a self imposed hiatus. She has also done a ‘pivotal’ role in Nanbenda starring Nayanthara and Udhayanidhi Stalin.
