Shruti Haasan will reprise Sai Pallavi’s role as a college lecturer in the Telugu remake of Premam. “Shruti will be playing the popular character Malar, which was essayed by Sai Pallavi in the original,” a source told Silverscreen.in. Anupama Parameswaran, who was part of Premam, will reprise her own role in the remake. The makers are still looking for a third heroine. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the remake will feature Naga Chaitanya as the male lead. Shooting will begin in the first week of December.
