Shruti Haasan will be hosting a private screening of Papanasam in Mumbai this week, to celebrate her father Kamal Haasan’s work. Papanasam released in theatres in South India to unanimous appreciation and success at the box office. The private screening will be open to close friends and colleagues only.
Shruti Haasan has been extremely busy with her own film shoots, dubbing, and brand shoots. Her film Gabbar released this year to box office success, and she has six more films in the pipeline for 2015, in multiple languages including Hindi. It appears that given her extensive travelling and hectic schedule, this might be the first time the actress has had some free time this year, and she has used the opportunity to prioritize her father’s film.
