Actress and singer Shruti Haasan has told the Times of India that she will be releasing an English single on March 8th, on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The song has been written and composed by her.
Shruti Haasan, who is currently working on projects in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, also responded to criticisms of her dubbing skills. She said, “Audiences in Kollywood and Tollywood are used to listening to that perfect, sweet, female voice, thanks to dubbing artistes. My voice is different, so it may sound different, but I believe the audiences will get used to it over time. I am a Tamil girl and I like to dub for my films.”
