News anchor-turned-actress Shruti Sodhi, who was last seen in this year’s sleeper hit Pataas, will be seen as a police officer in her upcoming film, Vaadu Nenu Kadhu. Shruti is paired opposite Sairam Shankar, who will be essaying the role of a public prosecutor.
Sharing the first look of her character, an excited Shruti announced the news on her Twitter page:

Said to be a multi-lingual film, which will release in Telugu and Tamil, Vaadu Nenu Kadhu is directed by Vinod Vijayan. The film also features Mahima Nambiar as one of the leading ladies.
