Actor Sibiraj’s is joining hands with debutante director Vinod for his next venture, reportedly an action-thriller that will be mainly shot in Kashmir. Vinod, who earlier assisted director VZ Durai, spoke to the Times of India on his first independent venture: “Sibi will be seen in an all new avatar. His character has different shades and will have a lot of scope to perform. We will begin the shoot in Kashmir, soon. Major portions of the film will be shot there. We will also be shooting in and around Chennai, and in Pollachi. When I narrated the script, he liked the story and his role, as the plot has both content and commercial value.”
The director also said that a social issue would be addressed in the movie. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.
Meanwhile, Sibiraj is busy completing the shoot of Sathya, an action film. The project is being helmed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy of Saithaan fame.
