The release of Simbu’s Vaalu has been hit with delay after delay. Last month, the team announced that the film will definitely release on the July 17, coinciding with Eid. But this week, Magic Rays, one of the distributors of the film, appealed for a stay on the release of the film.
Now, through a press note, Simbu has opened up about the issue. He has stated, “My father’s decision to acquire the rights to Vaalu was not only on the basis of being my father, but also as a reputed director-producer. We are all set to release the film by mid July. We have been sorting out various issues related to the film when we came across this other party claiming the release rights for the film as well.”
“I have done my duty as an actor and I am as eager to see the film with my beloved fans. Hidden forces are in the process of sabotaging the release on the scheduled date.”
He also declared that he believes in the saying, ‘when the going gets tough, the tough gets going’, and that he is a ‘bundle of confidence’. He assured his fans that the film will hit the screens as scheduled on July 17.
