With news of Sonakshi Sinha singing at a Justin Bieber concert doing the rounds, 21-year-old singer Armaan Malik took to Twitter to call out actors who have started singing. Singling out Sonakshi, the singer tweeted that “singers are singers”, and that the mic and stage should be “theirs” while actors should do what they do best – act.

Armaan, however, while agreeing with her, asserted a harsh truth – about singers never being given the same importance as that of actors.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi sent out a statement refuting the news of her singing at Justin Beiber’s upcoming concert in Mumbai:
“Firstly, I am not performing at the Bieber concert. It was speculated because I was approached and carried forward by publications and portals even after I stated in various interviews that it’s not happening. Secondly, I am an actor who loves music, who loves to perform and who loves to sing. And if anyone has a problem with that, in the wise words of baba Bieber himself… they can go “love” themselves. Over and out.”
