Actor Sivakarthikeyan has denied rumours that he will be producing his next film. According to a report from The Hindu (Tamil), he has categorically stated that he is not one of the producers of the yet-to-be-titled film. Directed by newcomer Bhagyaraj, the film is being funded by his friend Raja, a fact that might have led to the confusion, he said.
According to sources, Sivakarthiyan was satisfied with the story narrated by Bhagyaraj, who is a former associate of director Atlee. The cast and crew are being finalized, although an official confirmation on the movie has yet to be made.
Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film Rajini Murugan, directed by Ponram, is at the post-production stage. The movie had earlier been scheduled for a July 17 release. Director and producer Lingusamy (of Thirrupathi Brothers) will soon announce the official release date.
