Usually, the most of films in Tamil film industry do not begin shooting with a fixed release date. This has been an ambitious announcement by Mohan Raja’s team. According to reports, the first day of shooting was marred with delays. This came after a few producers complained to the Producers Council and FEFSI (Film Employees Federation of South India) about Sivakarthikeyan not honouring the commitment he had given them to do a film for their production. They requested the unions to not support Sivakarthikeyan’s next film until their problems were sorted out. The shooting was stalled for sometime on Friday, but after a series of meetings, the issue was sorted out.
The film has Nayanthara as the female lead. Rumoured to be a thriller, the untitled film will also mark Malayalm actor Fahaadh Faasil’s Tamil debut. The actor will play the antagonist in the movie. Sneha, Prakash Raj, RJ Balaji, Sathish, Rohini have also been cast in the film.
