Actor-director SJ Suryah will not contest in the Nadigar Sangam elections, and will be favouring R Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi and team in the elections, confirms a Vikatan report.
The incumbent secretary of the Sangam, Radha Ravi had given an interview to a private channel, in which he said that actors STR and SJ Suryah would be taking part in the forthcoming election.

The Vikatan report claims that R Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi had met SJ Suryah as part of the election campaign, and the actor had given his nod to vote for them, but had not agreed to contest in the election. He had expressed interest to be a member of Directors Union, Producers Council, Music directors union and South Indian Film Artistes Association.
As of now, SJ Suryah is busy shooting for director Karthik Subbaraj’s Iraivi, along with Bobby Simhaa, Vijay Sethupathi, Anjali, Kamalinee Mukherjee and Karunakaran.
