Anuja Chauhan burst into literary stardom with The Zoya Factor 11 years ago. SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment bought the adaptation rights soon and there was a lot of excitement. But as writers will tell you, if you think a creative deal is moving too fast, it’s possibly not moving at all. Nothing came of the deal and it lapsed. Interest in Anuja’s work has grown over the years as she wrote Battle For Bittora, Those Pricey Thakur Girls, The House That BJ Built and Baaz.
Anuja’s fans have waited to see Zoya (Sonam Kapoor) and Nikhil’s (Dulquer Salman) chemistry on-screen for what feels like forever. They now finally have a trailer.
