Director Vijay’s trilingual Tutak Tutak Tutiya released in Hindi, Tamil (as Devi(L)) and Telugu (as Abhinetri) last week to mostly positive reviews. Actor Sonu Sood, who produced the Hindi version, has expressed his interest to make a sequel with Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah, who starred in the horror comedy. He added that the sequel will be directed by Prabhu Deva and will be shot in Punjab and London.
He said to Times of India, “We have an idea that can be developed. Prabhu knows the genre well and is excited about the idea.”
Sonu Sood thanked bollywood personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Kangana Ranaut and Farah Khan and international actor Jackie Chan who supported the film’s promotions.

While SRK lent his voice as the narrator, Farah Khan launched the trailer, Kangana Ranaut released the title track and Jackie Chan unveiled the first poster. “The film starts with the slate ‘I Love You Shah Rukh Khan’. He’s like my brother and I can never thank him enough. When Farah, Kangana and Jackie supported me, I felt happy that I had earned the goodwill. I hope people like the movie, so we can start working on the sequel,” said Sonu.
The trilingual is a horror comedy about a timid housewife who, possessed by a spirit, goes on to become a glamorous actress. The film had actors like Amy Jackson, Murali Sharma, Abijith Paul, RJ Balaji in supporting roles.
Prabhu Deva made his directorial debut with Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana starring Siddharth and Trisha Krishnan in lead roles. He went on to direct Pokkiri, Pournami, Singh Is Bling among others.
