Sonia Agarwal is all set to make a comeback with her next movie Saaya. Directed by Pazhanivel, Sonia will be seen as a forest officer in the movie. Debutant actor, Santhosh will be seen in a lead role. The cast includes Gayathri, Sundararajan, and Y Gee Mahendra among others. John Peter is the music director of the film.
Saaya, a horror movie, will be completely different from other movies in this genre, the director claims. The title ‘Saaya’ means energy, and the movie will bring out the connection between saaya and the soul power, said the director. Unlike the stereotypical ghosts scene in Tamil movies, this movie sees friendly ghosts who help the society, particularly students. Sonia has performed many stunts in the movie. It was reported that she has undertaken special training for the action sequences.
