The climax sequences for Sowkarpettai – featuring actor Srikanth and Raai Laxmi – are being shot at the Moolakothalam graveyard. A high octane fight scene involving the lead cast and 50 ghosts is being canned over 10 days, with the help of eight cameras. Stunt master Kanal Kannan has choreographed this scene in the movie.
According to the press release issued by the director, Sowkarpettai is said to be the most expensive movie that Srikanth has acted in.
This Vadivudaiyan directorial is tipped to be a horror comedy starring Vadivukarasi, Saravanan, Vivek, Appu Kutty, Kota Sreenivasa Rao, Sampath, Kovai Sarala, Suman and Powerstar Srinivasan. Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Thalaivasal Vijay and Rekha are a part of the supporting cast.
