The audio launch of superstar Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu is set to take place on June 27 in Hyderabad. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film features Shruti Haasan in the lead and is said to be a family drama with a good dose of commercial elements. The film, which is jointly produced, with one of the producers being Mahesh himself, has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
Going by the first teaser, it’s supposedly the story of a businessman who decides to adopt a village and the challenges he faces in the process. The film’s shooting will be completed by June 19 and it will release in cinemas on July 17, exactly a week after Baahubali hits the screens.
