Srimanthudu, starring Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan, has become the second fastest Telugu film to enter the Rs.100 crore club, after Baahubali. Eros International, which has distributed the film worldwide in over 2000 screens, confirmed that the film grossed Rs.101.25 crore in its first week. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film revolves around a young multi-millionaire who embarks on a journey to adopt a village. The film was dubbed and released in Tamil as Selvandhan. An elated Mahesh Babu said that Srimanthudu was his best film, and attributed its success to director Siva.
