Actor Harish Uthaman is confident that his career will go places post the release of the Mahesh Babu-starrer Srimanthudu. Harish plays one of the baddies in the film alongside Sampath Raj and Mukesh Rishi. Talking to Silverscreen, he said, “This film will be a big boost to my career. I’m really looking forward to the release.”

On the sets, Harish was awestruck listening to Mahesh speak fluent Tamil. “It was my first day on the sets. We were going to shoot an action sequence. I met Mahesh and we exchanged pleasantries. After the shot, Mahesh sat near the monitor and I joined him. Suddenly he started talking in Tamil, and I was totally taken aback,” he said. Harish found Mahesh a ‘very considerate and friendly co-star, with no airs of stardom’.
The film, which is slated for release on August 7, is directed by Koratala Siva. It also features Shruti Haasan, Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu in important roles.
