Sruthi Ramakrishnan, who was last seen in the film ‘144‘, will replace Nikki Galrani in director Deekay’s Kavalai Vendam. The film has Jiiva, Bobby Simha and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.

Kavalai Vendam, which was supposed to start production last year, ran into delays and changes in cast many times. Keerthi Suresh and Nikki Galrani had opted out of the film citing date clashes, as the film did not begin as scheduled.
It is now reported that the shooting of Kavalai Vendam will begin in the first week of February in Coonnoor. The light-hearted entertainer will see Jiiva playing the role of a chef. Produced by Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment, Mukesh will be handling the cinematography, while Ruben is in charge of editing. Music director S N Prasad will be composing the tunes for this film.
