After Anushka Sharma’s spine-chilling Pari, it’s Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s turn to scare us with Stree. A ‘hilariously scary’ film, Stree is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, who previously directed the zombie stoner comedy, Go Goa Gone in 2013.
The teaser is eerie and shows a picture of a disembodied woman, hanging mid-air, staring at a writing on the wall which reads: “Oo Stree, August 31 ko aana,” the release date of the film. Set in Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh, the film also features Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee.
Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor is working on two other films, including Batti Gul Meter Chaalu and Saaho.
