Newcomer Sathish Chandrasekaran’s supernatural-thriller film Jinn has been retitled Darling 2 by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, who has recently acquired the rights to the film, according to a Dinamalar report.

Jinn’s story bears a close resemblance to the plot of Sam Anton’s Darling. The film revolves around a group of friends who go on a trip Valparai and realise that one of them has been possessed by a spirit. The supernatural events that occur during their trip forms the crux of the story.
Currently at the post-production stage, Jinn stars Kalaiyarasan, Rameez, ‘Johnny’ Hari of Madras fame, Kaali Venkat, Arjunan, and Preethi. The technical crew includes cinematographer Vijay Karthik and editor Madan.
